So if you're anything like me, you have an obsession. An obsession that takes over part of your life. An obsession that has your husband questioning your motives.
I have a bow obsession.
My daughter is six months old and wears a bow/headband at all times.

My daughter is six months old and wears a bow/headband at all times.
The day I found out I was having a baby girl, I ran to the nearest craft store and excitedly started shopping for material, ribbon, elastic, feathers, gems, and everything you could possibly fit on a tiny baby's head.
I snagged a discounted remnant piece and ran home to begin "sewing" my first headband.
I'm embarrassed to even look at the thing! I didn't have a sewing machine at the time and had minimal knowledge of anything crafty.
But that did not get me down, I was, at the time, proud of my wimpy creation. I began sewing modern turban headbands, making bows with ribbon, experimenting with different types of flower making. Before my daughter came along I had a massive collection of hand-made bows and headbands.

My husband was concerned.."You're making ANOTHER one??"
Well yes, yes I am. A girl can never have too many accessories..or maybe she can!
This Christmas I finally got my sewing machine. It was passed down from my grandma who used to make beautiful quilts. I had a whole assortment of craft ideas I could now attempt with my new gift.
While looking at Pinterest for new ideas and patterns, I came across this site. This woman is a master crafter! She made these cute cotton head wraps. Her instructions are so easy with a lot of illustrations to help those, like me, who need a visual.
These are made to fit infant, toddler, child, and get this..an adult as well! You could even make matching mommy-daughter ones! Make a cute baby shower gift for your friends expecting. I promise your gift will be the talk of the party!
